Leather Care Tips

Looking after your leather products with care will ensure you will enjoy them for years to come.

  • To keep your bag looking its best, wipe it down with a dry cloth regularly, and follow with a soft, damp cloth for deeper cleaning.
  • Although our leather is treated, it can dry out over time. We recommend using leather food sparingly in this case, testing a small area first.
  • Natural leather isn't waterproof, so protect your bag from excess water.
  • Beeswax can add a slight waterproof layer, but it may alter the leather's color, so use with caution.
  • Always let your bag dry naturally if it gets wet.

Caring for your Burgundy Collective Footwear

Our footwear is crafted with the finest leather to ensure durability and style. To keep your Burgundy Collective shoes looking and feeling their best, follow these simple care tips:

  1. Clean Regularly: Gently brush off dirt and debris with a soft-bristle brush or a damp cloth. For a deeper clean, use our Clean & Feed, applying it with care to avoid oversaturation.
  2. Condition the Leather: Leather can dry out over time, so it's important to keep it nourished. Use a quality leather conditioner once in a while. Apply a small amount with a soft cloth. Always test on a small area first.
  3. Protect from Water: Natural leather isn’t waterproof. Apply a water-repellent spray, like our Leather Resistor, designed to add a protective layer, but keep in mind that it might slightly alter the leather’s colour. Avoid soaking your shoes in water, and if they do get wet, let them dry naturally away from direct heat.

By following these care tips, you can ensure that your Burgundy Collective footwear remains a timeless addition to your wardrobe for years to come. If you have any questions about footwear care, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
